Christopher is our newest addition and we are soooo excited to have him here with us. Briley and Christopher are getting along so well! They whole family is adjusting to the difference in size but no worries at all.

Catching Up

Well, we’ve been very busy and I’m just now getting the blog up to date. We made it home okay and everything has been great! The baby is sooooo sweet and beautiful! Just a quick thank you to all of the prayers and well wishers.

The trip was great and I’ll be putting a video of this second trip together soon. As far as the adoptions aspects go, court went smoothly and we arrived back in the USA relatively no worse for wear. The plane trip from Ethiopia to Amsterdam was fine, but the trip from Amsterdam to Texas was rough. The baby started to get an upset stomach and we had to eventually change her outfit. She also ended up getting some kind of skin rash, but that went away within a few weeks. (likely due to some type of virus)

We just finished our paperwork for the baby’s “re-adoption”. This will enable us the ability to change her name and receive a Texas birth certificate instead of her Ethiopian one. After that comes in, we will get her social security card up to date with her new name.
